With goals to improve his fitness, lose weight and reduce pain through his upper body, Chirnside Park local Trent contacted Assist PT in Lilydale. He was 100% committed to this goal and after four weeks of doing specialised core strengthening training with Matt in September 2014, he continued with 2 weekly strength training personal training sessions. In just over two years, Trent has not only improved his body composition but also eliminated all pain through his back and upper body.
Overall, he added 7.2cm size to his shoulders, dropped 10.5cm from his mid section and lost 4.8cm from his hips. His measurements were reflective of his body fat percentage, which reduced by 6%, and lean muscle mass, which increased by 7.5kg.
Trent trained with both Jordy and Matt at Assist Personal Training in Lilydale. He explains;
“I was really happy with the improvements in my back and upper body, they have changed my everyday life for the better! I was really happy with all my programs too as they were always tailored to my goals.
“Reflecting back on when I first started at Assist PT, I had low energy levels. I was sore and stiff and I was not happy in my appearance. Now I’m stronger, I have more confidence in my appearance, I have lots more energy and I’m happier in general. I’ve set some new goals for myself. I now want to focus more on following your nutrition guideline more carefully to drop more body fat and add lean muscle.
